FAQ

  • All our e-bikes come with two electric modes to choose from. Pedal assist and throttle. In pedal assist mode, a rider must first start by pedaling to activate the motor in the bike. Throttle mode allows a rider to cruise along without pedaling and is like riding a motorcycle or scooter.

You also have the option to ride them as you would a normal 8 speed bicycle.

  • As a general guide, if you alternate between using electric mode and pedaling, you will have enough battery to do a lap of Rarotonga. We don’t recommend using the throttle alone, as it will use a lot of battery power.

  • Recharging is quite simple, and we can demonstrate upon your arrival. We supply each bike with a battery which can be taken off the bike and charged at your accommodation.

We supply you with a charger. You take the battery off your bike and charge it in your accommodation room overnight.
